Released!

So I have been released from my primary chorister calling. I have been for a little while now, but I have not been able to decide what the fate of this blog is going to be. I am still in the primary as part of the primary presidency, so I still will be involved. However I have not decided if I will keep making my visuals. I am finding that I don't have the time anymore that I wish I had to devote to making them. It is also looking like I won't get around to making new visuals for "Families can be together Forever". It is hard to find the time to make them, when I won't actually be needing to use them myself.
I still plan on maintaining this blog, and maybe develop it into something more beyond singing time, but I haven't for sure decided that yet.
Anyway in the past a few people have sent me their own visuals, which I have really appreciated. So for now, if anyone has their own visuals that you would be willing to share, I would be willing to post them on this blog, and I would also be willing to email them out to who ever requests them. I can also make them into pdf format if need me too. You can email them to me and give me your name and general location, just so I can give you the credit for them. Don't send me anything that you are not willing to share with everyone else, and also make sure it is your own that you send me and not another person's work.
Remember I am still not going anywhere, just changing it up a little. Thanks for all of your interest and support in this blog, it has been great to get to know new people all over the world.

Teach Me To Walk In the Light

We are doing "Teach Me To Walk in the Light" for July. Since it is one of the months we can choose our own song, I decided to keep it simple. I am sure most everyone is doing something different, but here are my visuals if they help anyone.

Baptism

I am so sorry I have been such a slacker lately.  It has been a very busy couple of months and I just have not had the time to work on my primary stuff like I have wanted to.   I have not even started teaching the Baptism song yet.  Hopefully a lot of you are like me and have been working on Mother's day, but if not then I am sorry I was not able to get anything up to help anyone.  Stephanie as shared with me her visuals for the song Baptism.  I really like them so I am going to use them instead of making some.  She has allowed me to post them so anyone else may use them if you want.  Thanks Stephanie!
Sorry again, Hopefully I will get the song for next month up soon.

I Often Go Walking

I am a little late getting this up and with Mother's Day less than 2 weeks away, this may be too late to be of use to anyone but here it is anyway.   Also, sorry but it is only the first verse.  I just ran out of time to do anything with the 2nd verse.  Here it is if anyone can still use it.

When He Comes Again

Since we are able to choose our own song for April this year, I have chosen "When He Comes Again".  It is one of my all time favorites!  I have made the visuals for the first verse so far.  I have not decided if I will teach the 2nd verse yet.  Even though I would like too, I just don't know if I will have enough time, since I will also start teaching some Mother's Day songs.   So anyway, for now here is the first verse.  Let me know if anyone is interested in the 2nd verse.  I am just not sure if many will be interested since everyone will be using different songs.  If there seems to be a demand for the second verse I will do it regardless of if I decide to use it or not.

FYI

So, since I have started this blog I have found that I don't always have time to respond to my email as quickly as I would like, and so I feel bad for those who are waiting for files and it takes me a few days for me to get them to you.  So to help out  a little bit, I have added my PDF files to the file section of the Yahoo Primary Music group.  If you are a member of that group this should help out a lot, then you can just get the files when ever you need them.  What I would really like to do is set up a full website that files can just be downloaded from there, but until I do I hope this helps some of you.  You are still welcome to email me to get the files, and I will do my best to get them to you as soon as I can.  The files that are in the yahoo files are called:  "The family if of God complete.pdf", "How Firm A Foundation1.pdf" and "My Eternal Family.pdf".

And also I have found that when you pull them up, it starts a slide show, but if you just hit escape then you should be able to view and print the file.

Looking for some suggestions.

Okay, so one of my terrible weaknesses is that sometimes I have a hard time making up my mind.  And so for this reason, I am struggling with the "My Eternal Family" Visuals.   For some reason I can't find a good picture for the "I am a builder" line that I jumps out at me.  And since of course this is the first line of the song, I am stuck.  So then the thought occurred to me, instead of loosing sleep over this silly issue, maybe I would ask for some opinions from all of the great and wonderful people who read this blog, and have used my visuals.   So help me decide, these are the 2 pictures so far that I have found that I am thinking about.  Which one do you like better?  Or does anyone know of a better one?

(I guess my draw back with these, is they are really about Nephi, and not about building families but they are still cute I think.)  What do you think?

Looking Ahead

I haven't had anything new to post lately, but I thought I would just give an idea of what my plans are, just in case some people are watching for something specific.  I am currently working on the song for March which is "My Eternal Family"  and will post that as soon as I can get it done.  Then after that the songs I plan to teach and hopefully make visuals for are:
April - "When he Comes Again"
May - "Baptism"
June - "Seek the Lord Early"
July - "Teach me to Walk in the Light"
August - "Families Can Be Together Forever"
I am not promising visuals for all of these songs, but this is just what my plan is for now.

I also want to teach songs for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Pioneer Day and Christmas, but I am not quite decided on which ones, or if I will make visuals for them.  I may just use what is already out there.

I hope that gives you all some idea of what to expect.

New visuals for 2nd 3rd 4th verses

Here are the rest of the verses that I did of "The Family is of God". I did each of the additional verses with 2 pages each, and I did not re-do the chours, so it is up to you how many times you want to print those pages from the other post.
Let me know if you want these emailed to you.

How Firm a Foundation File

Okay, I finally sent this out. Did every one get them that requested them?

2nd 3rd, & 4th Verses of A family is of God - Soon

So, I taught the 1st verse of this song in primary today, and after teaching it I have decided to teach the rest of the song. I still may do my original plan for the program, but am just starting to think that you need all of the verses to get the whole concept of the song. So I will work on the rest of the verses, I know a lot of you have requested them. I will do my best to get them done by next Sunday. I can't promise, life gets pretty crazy around here, but I will try my best.

"Family is of God" File

Has everyone who requested this file received it yet? I think I replied to all of my emails but I am not sure. Please let me know if you don't have it yet. I am sure a lot of you would want them for primary tomorrow if you were planning on using them.

I did have one comment saying that they didn't have a problem printing. So try this, but I don't mind emailing the files if you still want them.

I was able to print just fine--I clicked on each image to enlarge it, then saved to my computer, then printed.

File issues!

If you have requested me to email "How Firm A Foundation", I am having issues with the file, and can't send it. I am working on it, and will get them out to you ASAP! Sorry, and don't give up on me yet, I am sure I will get it all figured out eventually.
